ABOUT GEM CITY

Our Mission

1. To establish, maintain and conduct on going education, coordination and cooperation of health services and the delivery of health services.

2. To attack and attempt to remove the cause or causes of discrimination in the functional area of health and health services.

3. To aid and assist in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive health center for the care of persons suffering from illnesses or disabilities which require that the patients receive non-hospital care.

4. To carry on educational activities related to rendering care to the sick and injured or promotion of health.

5. To promote and carry on scientific research related to the care of the sick and injured.

6. To participate, so far as circumstances may warrant, in any activity designed and carried on to promote the general health of the community.

7. Work with and develop programs emphasizing the importance of the individual, establish comprehensive services in the are of health, cooperate and coordinate with projects and programs in developing and improving the quality of health and the quality of life of the residents of the community.

8. Engage in research work in medicine, surgery and kindred subjects, receiving funds by donation, bequest or otherwise, holding, investing and disbursing the same; charging and receiving compensation for treatment, services and accommodations, all fro the purpose only of maintaining such corporation and not for profit; and doing any and all things necessary or incident thereto.
